Josh Holcombe

Josh brings an encouraging, energetic presence to the bench and believes that at the Squirt level, the game should be something kids want to come back to. He started playing at ten years old himself, on the rinks of Colorado and on frozen ponds near his house, and he understands that a player's love of hockey is built long before their skills are refined. Josh spent fifteen years on active duty in the Navy, and he coaches with the same belief that got him through it: that steady effort and a good attitude carry a team further than talent alone. He returned to the ice after moving to the Coachella Valley and joining the Firebirds adult league, and he coaches so he can share the game with his son.
