Coachella Valley JR Firebirds

Calling all 5-18 year olds interested in being part of the Coachella Valley JR Firebirds Travel Hockey Club and the All Valley High School Varsity Hockey Team.

Practice twice/week and play 16-20 regular season games both home and away plus tournaments against teams like the JR Ducks, JR Kings and JR Reign. The Regular season begins mid-August and ends late February or mid March if your team qualifies for playoffs.

MUST BRING A SCAHA PASSCODE TO TRYOUTS - SCAHA.net

HOW TRYOUTS WORK 

• Check-in upon arrival, present required documents (details above)
• Receive your tryout number and place it on the back of your helmet
• Be ready to get on the ice at the designated time of your tryout
• Tryouts will last approximately 45 minutes
• Please stay at the rink until the tryout results have been posted
• Tryout results will be posted by the benches shortly after completion of the tryout

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM CHOSEN FOR A TEAM

• Immediately following the posting of results, you will meet with Club Representatives in the Crew Dining Room, which is located next to the Zamboni area
• You will complete and sign a Letter of Intent (LOI)
• Financial arrangements for payment of registration and dues must be completed online within 24 hours of making the team
• Once you sign a Letter of Intent you may not tryout for any other team
• (Exception: SCAHA players may also be dual rostered on a High School Team)

BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND RESIDENCY DOCUMENTS

If you are a new player to SCAHA/CAHA, or born internationally, you will be asked to provide a copy of your government issued birth certificate and/or US Visa documents to the club Registrar
